Did the University of Miami do the right thing by firing Larry Coker?

Even with his firing he has remained a cly guy. He helped clean up the program, he improved graduation rates and didn’t shy away from suspending star players. He was loved by the athletes, the faculty and the administration. On the other hand he has over seen a slow decline capped by a 6-6 season. His team has had recent embarring on field incidents with LSU and FIU. And it doesn’t matter how cly a guy you are it seems Miami will always have a “thug” image.
