What's up with Dualism?

Isn't it somewhat archaic to view the world as either/or? It seems every where I turn, someone's saying it has to be one way or the other. Good or Bad, Right or Wrong, Democrat or Republican, Christian or Atheist, Religious Zealot or Devil worshiper, Patriot or Terrorist... People, don't you think it's time we stop viewing the world as two sides of the same coin? Don't you think the universe, and reality is much more complex than the number 2?
