Why did they have to make the movie Lottery Ticket so stereotypical?

By "they" I mean those who worked on the movie.It's the same ****.The projects/ghetto,gangs,no money,annoying die hard Baptists constantly going on about Jesus,girls with big es and the list goes on.This movie was terrible.I'm surprised I didn't see any water melons.I thought we moved ped this crap.What do you think?Are there really black people out there who actually thought this rubbish movie was good and NOT stereotypical?If so,I pity you.
