How well does the Conair "you style" 2 in 1 curler/straighter actually work?

my mom is a hair stylist and im in vocashinal school to be one and ive tryed it and so have many other people i know, and it littlerly pulls out your hair. sorry but its the truth. a good straightner would be a chi .
