Homes in the upstate New York area?

I live in Westchester NY but I really want to buy a house a little more up state, maybe in like the Poughkeepsie, Newport, Chester area. I’m not sure which town, I would just like some place with a big yard and a nice size house. I only want to move a hour to a hour and a half away not as far as Albany at all . Any suggestions from people who knows that area. And also are there tours of homes around their maybe I can take.
