EXPERT CROCHETERS! How do I crochet a scallop edge for a baby blanket?

To give you an idea of my project, it is a 7sq by 7sq granny square baby blanket (49 squares total). Each of the squares has a 1 inch border of white and all are joined together by white. There are vertical ridges on each side where the yarn has been joined. My colors are: white, purple, pink, blue, yellow, and green - all pastel. I just watches Slum-dog Millionaire and loved it. At the end though, my Mom basically asked what we wanted most in life, even if it was something stupid. Well what I really want is to be a ballerina! I would just love to be able to dance like that! It's always been my dream but I didn't pursue it earlier because I thought my older sister would be mad at me. It's her dream, and she is a beautiful dancer. But every time I see her dance it makes me sad. Looking for a counter to Demise, King of Armageddon?

I have a friend whos is now running a Demise, King of Armageddon deck, mixed with insects, and My Ocean deck has never had a probablem till now. I run a Leveia Dragon Deck. I have managed to make it last this long but this Demise King is giving me probablems, in traditional rules with Banned cards, I can't find a way to stop it, his deck is too fast. I have Manged to slow him down by Monster Reborning one of his Demise Kings but at the time i had already taken the 5200 from this deck when i stole Demise. I have tryed Raigeki, and Destroyion Jammer but they haven't been any real help. it seems like all i got is Snatch steal and Monster reborn and i only use those after i take major damage. so I need any suggestions how how to counter this deck? How does your Deck fair agaisnt a Demise deck? what cards would you use? or do you use in your deck?

i recently saw public enemies and it was excellent in all ways. Johnny Depp played John Dillinger amazingly, and Christian Bale surprised me with his portrayal of melvin purvis. marion...i forget how to spell her name, played billie franchete and did very well. i do,however, think that channing tatum should have been included more, and whoever portrayed babyface nelson shouldn'ta died like he did. more character involvement from people other than depp and bale would ahve been nice as well. but still 4 1/2 stars. please post reviews of your own if you've seen it.

when I turn the knob to change the focus of my heat and air vents, nothing changes. it just keeps blowing out of the main vents. This wouldnt be a huge problem, except i cant switch it to defrost mode, and with winter coming soon, this is definetly a problem. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

He is one of the most gentle boy in his cl as his teachers said so far. he is quiet and calm in school. He is good in all aspects in school. My daughter cut her finger on a gl jar in Morrisons. Do people take legal action for things like this?

Today we were in morrisons, and my 13 year old daughter picked up a jar of gherkins. She didn't know, but the jar had a small sharp triangular piece of gl sticking out of it, and it cut her thumb. The cut is around 1cm long. It was bleeding quite a bit. I took her to customer services, with the jar as proof. I am 16 and started the tri-cyclen lo birth control pill last night. I am using it for acne. I did not take it with food, i took it at 10:15 at night. If i was standing/walking around i felt better but if i sat the pain would come back and i would feel like i would throw up. My veterinarian doesn't put a blindfold on animals, or do anything like that. Frankly, I haven't heard of it being done that way. I think it would be more humane for them to see the people they love and that love them, yes. But I would have to disagree on the part where you state "their body slowly shuts down". Humanely euthanizing an animal is the quickest way to go. Within seconds they have ped on. It's not anywhere near slow. But anyway, blinding an animal while they are being put down is cruel and inhumane I think, unless the animal would feel more comfort that way. Where did you hear that from?

Well im sure that i can help you out considering i have the same exact car that you do but i have 2 12inch fusion powerplants in mine. If you only plan on running a single sub in the car you are better off getting a 12inch sub, take a look on ebay or craigslist, that would be your best bet for a cheap sub and amp, if you still want to keep your stock sub in the car along with something extra you should probably stick with a 10 inch sub. You can by a wiring kit at walmart for around $30. You will have to buy a roll of wiring though too, which you can get a 50 foot roll of 16 guage speaker wire at walmart for $19 because the wiring kit only comes with a ground wire, power wire, and a remote. The nice thing about Oldsmobile Aurora's is that the battery is under the back seat so you dont have to struggle to hide the wiring. The remote wire will have to be ran from the trunk to the door panel fuse box, which it will show you which fuse is for the radio, oh and you will have to buy a converter which i think is around $20 at walmart, it goes from speaker wire to rca's. You will have to run the 16-guage wire from your back speakers, the easiest way to get to them is by taking the panel off that has the carpeting on it, unless you want to do it the hard way and take the entire door panel off. keep this in mind, the cheaper you buy the crapier you results will be. I live in michigan also in rochester but i bought my skimboard for my house in miami. As far as lake michigan goes, you really aren't going to see a huge swells so even though zap boards are good,i have an egg, you need something that is based on speed not "pop" or wave riding or "wrapping".Because you guys snowboard and longboard you guys don't need to do the bullshit experimenting. uming that you're good at both, then good for the best board FOR SANDBOARDING that you can get, ie a board made with carbon fiber and a strong epoxy with the carbon which makes the board extremely light. My wife has cancer and I need some help please?

Hi, I'm 35 years old and have been married to my wife for 6 years, been together for 12. She has stage 4 cancer, has had it for a few years now and it does not get easier. She hasnt been responding well to any aggressive treatments, and is sick in bed except saturdays and sundays. I dont want to sound rude but what I am about to ask I DO NOT need any rude comments. She was never a jealous person but now whenever I look she starts crying, and says it makes her feel so ugly because well ya know she lost her hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, etc. She does have wig, fake eyelashes, etc but that still doesnt change how she feels inside. I try so hard not to look and I really dont do it on purpose. I think she is the most beautiful woman, even bald. She is my hero. One thing that really bothers me is people who claim to be proper, good, Christians, simply because they attent church regularly. During the week, they are selfish, greedy, rude, and egotistical. So she takes this board and a couple of bricks to her speech cl since she is working on her Bachelors and is going to give a presentation on how to break a board and then finish with actually doing it. Bad idea and she came home with her hand in a cast but thought since she had watched me do it and many other types of breaks with things that it would be easy. Is it wrong to use swordsmanship to strengthen the bond between my Creator and myself?

If i looked close enough to the script, I think I could imagine it, the details are descriptive, but not gripping, therefore there isn't much flow in your words. Eliminate a little of the detail, for example, you wrote too much about the scene in the beginning, like with all the gr and stony steps. And since this is chapter one, i think it should start out differently. if you want an audience, you have to lure it to you, and to your writing. the first scene was honestly not gripping at all. I did this paper today aswell :) I was so happy, if you are doing Cluster one like me, that Two Scavengers came up as I was literally dreading seeing What were they like, or Night of th Scorpion. But anyway, I also did the describe question and first read it as saying 'OR' but then realised. However if you failed to said about BOTH Winter and Summer unfortunately they will mark you down as you have not addressed the question, that is such an annoying this to do. Hopefully if your summer was powerful with lots of emotive language, similes, sibilance, power of three ect. you may still be able to get a goodish mark. But also, look on the bright side! the describe question was only 15% so it wont effect your overall grade a great amount.

If you know me, you know that I'm a vet tech and cruelty investigator, so I know a thing or two about cats! I have 5 kitties right now. The newest one was semi-feral, at one point, she was a housecat, but her family moved away and left her behind. So I took her in. The banks probably should have been made a ward of the government so they wouldn't scam the system as we know they did, but politically the GOP/Teabag/Fox 'News' Axis would have gone nuts screaming about 'socialism'...the same way they did when the Obama administration propped up the auto industry...remember 'Government Motors'? The fact that a million jobs were saved and an essential industry was saved from death turned out to be all for the good. 406 TD Black smoke acceleration, standing fine?

Hi. I've got a peugeot 406 TD, 1997, 145k on clock. standing, it blows out fresh air from exhaust. on low revs on acceleration, or generally accelerating when turbo kicks in, belches black smoke. i've changed air filter, fuel filter, oil filter. flushed the oil on oil filter change, changed oil twice and put injector fuel additive in fuel tank. Still no joy. Don't know if electronically related, but rev counter sometimes kicks in on start up and stays on until i turn key off again. when revs working, black smoke doesn't seem as bad?! might be coincidence. would really appreciate advice on anybody that has had exact same problem or mechanic please?! cheers! I have 28 day long cycles and recently came off the bcp: yaz. My last period began January 23 and lasted until the 27th. My bf and I had before and after my fertile time without a condom. About five days from ovulation I noticed bright red spotting. It was a small amount and only lasted for one day. Lately I've been hungry more, gy, lumps in , itchy , darker , more montgomery glands, s seem larger, and have twinges in lower left side of my abdomen. HOWEVER: I am not having cramps, I am not bloating, I am not really that tired, and am not feeling that nauseated. My period does not come for another 4 days. The stuff listed above does not usually occur before period. What is going on please? Is it just going off bcp or is it a poss. pregnancy?

I was curious because I've always thought it sounded bland... but maybe that's because I grew up around it. It's just that other accents always seem to have more... personality, more of a lilt to them. Irish accents are melodious & easy on the ear, and British accents seem more light and refined, Australian accents are fun and bold...
